My name is Ella Liliane Langsford and I am a 20 year old International Business and Marketing student from Ponsonby, Central Auckland. I am very enthusiastic about fashion, travel and the gym and most of the time you will be able to find me doing one of those 3 things!
I have been considering entering Miss World NZ for a couple years and have final plucked up the courage to do so. I wanted to have a new and exciting experience doing something that would not only benefit me but others also through all my charity work with the Ronald McDonald House.
A lot of people would be very surprised to know that I have had about 10 different jobs in my life – I love to try new things and to put myself out there in anyway possible. At present I have 3 jobs and am studying and am very lucky to get 4 hours sleep a night! One of my current jobs is nannying. In this role I have raised an 8 month old baby since the day he was born. He was the first baby I had ever held and I love children so much now that through my newly found passion for children I chose the Ronald McDonald House as my Miss World Charity.
Through the Miss World New Zealand journey I plan to grow as an individual and become the young woman who I wish to be for the rest of life. I cannot wait to use the competition as a platform to raise awareness and funds for the Ronald McDonald House NZ. The journey is providing me with a quality grounding to grow and to blossom from. I cannot wait until I can pass on my knowledge gained from the pageant platform to other young New Zealand women.
