On the 8th day of Miss World month the girls were to wake early to visit The Mother Temple of Besakih on the the slopes of Mount Agung, Easten Bali. It is the largest and holiest temple of Hindu Religion in Bali. They had a blessing and were treated to a traditional Balinese treats. Their next stop was the Rudana Art Museum in Central Ubud where a beautiful welcome ceremony was held followed by a tour . They were given some lesson in peace and harmony, lesson in painting and were challenged to draw an image which symbolises peace of all nations!
The days activities wrapped up with a sumptuous dinner at the hotel and followed by shopping. For security reasons, the island’s market stall holders gathered in the grounds of the Westin Resort to show off their wares and gave the contestants a chance to look and to purchase gifts for themselves, their friends, and their families.
